Meteora - A Unique Place in Greece

Meteora is a unique and spectacular landscape in central Greece. It is one of the most beautiful places in Greece. The area of Meteora on the Greek mainland is a collection of six monasteries that were constructed on limestone rocks many centuries ago. Crescent Moon Tower - Incredible Dubai Tower

Dubai is a top travel destination to many. The city is emerging as a center of tourism in recent times. New skyscrapers are being erected to add to the attraction of the city. American based design company, Transparent House, has proposed an amazing design of the amazing structure. The Crescent Moon Tower is supposed to be erected in Za'abeel Park in Dubai, UAE. It will be a 33 storied building on the banks of the Caspian Sea. It will be a down-turned half moon and will symbolize Dubai as belonging to the Islamic world. This Crescent Moon Tower will also become a manifestation of the modern level of technical and economic development of Dubai.

According to the design, the structure will accommodate a children’s library, a conference facility, a restaurant, multiple cafes, and an open-air observation platform. The design of the Crescent Moon Tower is intended to make the building a multi-purpose destination. It will become a popular tourist destination among the locals and foreigners alike.

Grand Canyon SkyWalk - Beautiful Glass Bridge

Chubu - An Airport on an Artificial Island in Japan

Artificial islands are becoming common everywhere. Many countries are creating artificial islands on the sea and using those islands for various important purposes. Chubu Centrair International Airport is one of the earliest artificial islands in Japan. Also known as Central Japan International Airport, this airport on an artificial island is located in Ise Bay in Tokoname, Central Japan.

Chubu is Japan’s third off-shore airport, after Nagasaki Airport and Kansai International Airport. It is also the second airport on an artificial island. Chubu Centrair International Airport is Japan's 8th busiest airport. The construction of this artificial island started in August 2000 and was opened in February 2005.

The artificial island itself was shaped like the rounded letter “D” so that sea currents inside the bay will flow freely. Its shores were partially constructed with natural rocks and sloped to aid sea life forms to set up colonies.

You've seen so many houses all around you. You might have seen some of the unusual houses too. But have you seen a house that looks like a piano? The Piano House in China is an unusual house and it resembles a piano. There is also a transparent violin leaning against the piano.

The piano shaped house is the main building and the transparent violin works as the entrance. The building was designed by the students of the Hefey University of Technology and was built in 2007. The Piano House is located at Huainan City in An Hui Province, China. This unique building serves as an exhibition center for the district of Shannan.
